April 8, 2025 - The West Virginia Black Bears are excited to announce its coaching staff for the 2025 MLB Draft League season. Jonathan Nunnally will lead the Black Bears in their milestone 10th season at Kendrick Family Ballpark. Nunnally, a long-time major league hitting coach and former outfielder, becomes the seventh manager in team history. And with Opening Day of the MLB Draft League season less than 70 days away, the West Virginia Black Bears today released their preliminary 2025 Promotional Schedule. This milestone tenth season features eight firework shows, 11 giveaways, daily specials and discounts, and more. Black Bears Announce 2025 Schedule for Milestone 10th Season in West Virginia

October 10, 2024 - The milestone 10th season of Black Bears baseball in West Virginia will begin on Tuesday, June 4, as the team today announced their 2025 playing schedule. A slate of 40 home games, including seven weekend dates, begins on Tuesday, June 10, as West Virginia hosts this year's MLB Draft League champions, the Williamsport Crosscutters. September 5, 2024 - GRANVILLE, W.Va. - The West Virginia Black Bears lost to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers 11-9 at Kendrick Family Ballpark in the final game of the 2024 MLB Draft League season.
