Thunderstruck: Tahoe Takes Game Three in Overtime

April 24, 2025 - STATELINE, NV - Playoff hockey is just something else. In their first home playoff game in franchise history, the Tahoe Knight Monsters defeated the Wichita Thunder 5-4 in overtime to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. Logan Nelson scored the game-winner, Simon Pinard tallied two more goals, and Jesper Vikman made 32 saves to lead Tahoe to victory. Knight Monsters Mute the Thunder in Game Two Domination

April 20, 2025 - Six goals in game one was clearly not enough for Tahoe. They dropped eight goals on Wichita in game two, winning 8-1 on the road and taking a 2-0 series lead. Seven different players scored, with Isaac Johnson and Logan Nelson registering three points, Joe Fleming scoring twice and Jesper Vikman playing stellar once again with 29 saves. All Lightning, No Thunder: Tahoe Cruises to Game One Win in Wichita

April 19, 2025 - The Jett has landed in Wichita. The Tahoe Knight Monsters dominated the Wichita Thunder 6-1 in game one of the Kelly Cup playoffs for their first postseason win in franchise history. Jett Jones scored a whopping four goals, Jesper Vikman made 32 saves, and Tahoe struck four times on the power play in the crushing victory. Bear Hughes opened up the scoring on the power play just minutes in, tipping in a Simon Pinard one-timer past Wichita netminder Trevor Gorsuch. Sloan Stanick Named ECHL Rookie of the Year

April 14, 2025 - STATELINE, NV - The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights, announced today that Sloan Stanick has been named the 2024-25 recipient of the John A. Daley Memorial Trophy as the ECHL Rookie of the Year. Stanick, 21, finished the regular season with 29 goals and 50 assists in 70 games, leading rookies in both categories. His 79 points was most among rookies by a margin of 24, tied for second overall across the ECHL, and led the Knight Monsters. ... Full Story
