Aviators Infielder Zack Gelof Named Pacific Coast League Player of the Week (August 11-17)

August 18, 2025 - (Las Vegas, NV) - The Las Vegas Aviators® professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League, Triple-A affiliate of the Athletics, today announced that infielder Zack Gelof was named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week (August 11-17). Gelof is the fourth Aviators player to receive PCL Player of the Week honors in 2025! Back-To-Back Homers Help Sugar Land Clinch Series Win

August 18, 2025 - SUGAR LAND, TX - Back-to-back homers from Edwin Díaz and Brice Matthews in the eighth lifted the Sugar Land Space Cowboys (18-24, 57-60) to a 4-2 series-clinching win over the Salt Lake Bees (20-25, 49-70) on Sunday night at Constellation Field. Sunday was the seventh time Sugar Land has hit back-to-back homers this season and the first time since August 6. Trio of Homers Push past Albuquerque

August 18, 2025 - Home runs by Ryan Ward, Kody Hoese and CJ Alexander led the Oklahoma City Comets to a 9-5 win against the Albuquerque Isotopes Sunday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The homers - each hit with two outs - accounted for seven of the Comets' runs in the series finale between the teams. Oklahoma City scored three runs in the third inning and went on to lead the rest of the game. CJ Alexander hit a RBI triple before Ward sent a two-run homer out to left field for a 3-0 advantage in the third inning. Albuquerque loaded the ... Full Story

Chihuahuas Complete First Six-Game Road Series Sweep

August 17, 2025 - The El Paso Chihuahuas came back to beat the Reno Aces 4-2 Sunday night at Greater Nevada Field to complete a six-game series sweep. El Paso trailed 2-1 with two outs in the eighth inning when Nate Mondou hit a go-ahead three-run home run into Reno's right field bullpen. The Chihuahuas' other run came on Clay Dungan's RBI double with two outs in the top of the fifth. The Chihuahuas set a new season high with four double plays Sunday. Catcher Rodolfo Duran went 1-for-4 to extend his career-high hitting streak to 11 games. ... Full Story
