Beauchesne and Katzin Help Lead Canada to First Win at U18 World Championship

April 24, 2025 - The 2025 IIHF U18 World Championship got underway in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday as Team Canada opened the tournament with a convincing 9-2 win over Slovakia with the help of Storm's Quinn Beauchesne and Lev Katzin. Katzin registered a goal and an assist in the first period, helping Team Canada to post 4 goals in 5 minutes of play. Beauchesne's third-period blast from the top of the circle made it a 7-2 game. Generals Return to Eastern Conference Finals to Take on Colts

April 24, 2025 - Oshawa, On. - The Oshawa Generals have returned to the OHL Eastern Conference Finals for the second straight time, taking on the Barrie Colts. It is a rematch of last season's first-round matchup, but things are not exactly the same as the 1 vs 8 battle we saw last year. Sarnia Sting's Alessandro Di Iorio Named to Team Canada for 2025 IIhf U18 Men's World Championship

April 24, 2025 - The Sarnia Sting are proud to announce that forward Alessandro Di Iorio has been named to Canada's National Men's Under-18 Team for the 2025 IIHF U18 Men's World Championship, taking place from April 23 to May 3 in Frisco and Allen, Texas. Di Iorio is one of 25 elite players chosen to wear the Maple Leaf as Canada looks to defend its gold medal on the international stage. Lev Katzin and Quinn Beauchesne to Represent Canada at 2025 IIHF U18 World Championship

April 24, 2025 - Hockey Canada has released their roster for the 2025 IIHF U18 World Championship in Texas. Storm's Quinn Beauchesne and Lev Katzin are among a group of Ontario Hockey League players named to the roster. They'll join Cory Stillman and Scott Wlaker who have been appointed as Head Coach and General Manager. Beauchesne, the Ottawa, Ont., native was the 1st round, 14th overall selection by the Storm in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection.
