JD Davison Named to All-NBA G League First Team

April 17, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The NBA G League announced today that Maine Celtics guard and league MVP JD Davison has been named to the All-NBA G League First Team. Davison becomes just the second player in franchise history to be named First Team All-G League, joining Tim Frazier (2014-15). April 13, 2025 - BOSTON, MA - The Boston Celtics announced today that they have signed guard JD Davison. Davison, the 2024-25 G League MVP, appeared in 30 Regular Season games for the Maine Celtics posting averages of 25.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He ranked fourth in the league in scoring and seventh in the league in assists, the only player in the G League to rank in the top seven in both categories this season. April 6, 2025 - KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The Maine Celtics' season came to a close at the hands of the Osceola Magic 135-119, in the NBA G League Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday night. 34 points and 11 assists by JD Davison wasn't enough to overcome an onslaught of offense by the Osceola Magic. April 6, 2025 - PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Celtics today announced that forward Phillip Wheeler has re-joined the Maine Celtics after the expiration of his 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.Wheeler is expected to be in uniform tonight for Maine's Eastern Conference Finals matchup with Osceola in the NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google Pixel.
