April 23, 2025 - HIGH POINT, N.C. - Before even throwing a pitch for the High Point Rockers, right-handed pitcher Peter Solomon caught the attention of the Chicago Cubs. The veteran Major League hurler, who was back in High Point for a second season, had his contract acquired by Chicago and is expected to head to the AAA Iowa Cubs who play their home games in Des Moines. High Point Rockers Tie Gastonia Ghost Peppers in Exhibition

April 19, 2025 - HIGH POINT, N.C. - The High Point Rockers and the Gastonia Ghost Peppers played to a 3-3 tie on Saturday night at Truist Point. The Rockers tallied a pair of runs in the first inning when Luis Gonzalez doubled and was followed by Ben Aklinski's two-run homer. High Point Rockers Open Spring Training at Truist Point

April 14, 2025 - HIGH POINT, N.C. - The High Point Rockers opened 12 days of spring training on Monday with 39 of the 42 players in camp at Truist Point. Among the group on the field Monday were nine players with prior Major League playing experience and 20 who have previously played with the Rockers. All-Star OF Aklinski Returning to High Point Rockers

April 10, 2025 - HIGH POINT, N.C. - All-star outfielder Ben Aklinski has signed a contract to return to the High Point Rockers in 2025. This will mark Aklinski's fourth season with the Rockers and his fifth in the Atlantic League. "Ben has been the rock that is really the foundation of our ballclub," said Rockers manager Jamie Keefe.
