May 14, 2024 - This past week Toronto Argonauts quarterback Chad Kelly received a minimum suspension of nine regular-season games for violating the league's gender-based violence policy, the Binghamton Black Bears won their first Federal Prospects Hockey League Commissioner's Cup and the the Texas Rangers new Single-A team in the Carolina League announced it will be called the Hub City Spartanburgers. Binghamton, Champions of the FPHL

May 10, 2024 - BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears won the Commissioners Cup on Friday Night, defeating the Carolina Thunderbirds 4-3, in game three of the FPHL finals. Carolina started hot, as Gus Ford scored the first two goals of the game, within the first 10 minutes. An over-capacity crowd became involved with Don Oliveri scoring his first goal of the series, as he cut the deficit down to one. Carolina led 2-1 after the opening frame. Binghamton Sweeps Road-Portion of Finals

May 4, 2024 - Winston-Salem, NC - The Binghamton Black Bears defeated the Carolina Thunderbirds 4-3, on Saturday night. Tyson Kirkby and Gavin Yates both recorded two goals, in the one-goal affair. For the second night in a row, the Black Bears were able to score three goals in the opening frame. Just 85 seconds into the game, Gavin Yates scored his first goal of the night.
