March 20, 2025 - EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Evansville Otters are excited to announce the newest group of signings for the 2025 season, including RHP CJ Backer, INF Alain Camou, RHP Jordi Romero and C Cohen Wilbanks. CJ Backer, a native of Newburgh, IN, joins the Otters for his first year of professional baseball. Collegiately, Backer played at Purdue University for the last three years, where he posted a 7.36 ERA in 54.2 innings in his senior season. Four Returners Re-Sign for 2025 Season

March 11, 2025 - EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Evansville Otters are excited to announce the re-signings of OF Mason White, LHP Grif Hughes and RHPs Chip Korbacher and Ryan Wiltse. "All four of these guys are set up for highly successful second professional seasons," Otters' Field Manager Andy McCauley said.
