Fort Worth Brahmas News Release

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (August 1)- Following the one year anniversary of its grand opening and dynamic emergence into the sports community, the NYTEX Sports Centre announced Friday that ZuRoma Sicilian Kitchen will open its second location in the Metroplex in the multi-faceted building.

ZuRoma, a Sicilian Pasta and Pizza Parlor, specializes in gourmet pizza in a family atmosphere. The Italian restaurant also features a variety of Italian home cooked meals for dine-in, take out and even delivery.

ZuRoma V.P. and General Manager, Mike Mills, believes the new location at the NYTEX Sports Centre will be the perfect fit for the family oriented business.

"We are very excited about bringing ZuRoma to the NYTEX Sports Centre. As a family owned and run restaurant, we focus on the family and believe we will maintain that image at the facility," said Mills. "The Mid-Cities community was very appealing in bringing ZuRoma to North Richland Hills."

NYTEX partner and Director of Hockey Programs, Knute Anderson, sees NYTEX Sports Centre as the perfect fit for ZuRoma's newest location.

"After the game the adult leagues are always looking for a place to go hang out to grab a bite to eat and discuss the game. What better place than a restaurant with a reputation of great food and a relaxed environment," said Anderson.

President of NYTEX Sports, Frank Trazzera, believes the new relationship between the NYTEX Sports Centre and ZuRoma further solidifies the long term commitment to hockey and youth sports in the community.

"The addition of ZuRoma puts together another diverse component to NYTEX. There is not any other sports complex in the Southwest that features such great choices for their customers," said Trazzera.

ZuRoma will join the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League (CHL), The Hockey Shop and Tejas Volleyball in calling the NYTEX Sports Centre home. Brahmas General Manager Mike Barack thinks ZuRoma will play a key role in bringing more fans into NYTEX.

"The restaurant addition will be awesome for the Brahmas fans as well as for spectators and league officials who attend CHL games here during the season. Our fan experience before and after games will truly be enhanced," said Barack.

ZuRoma will be open daily for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Renovations are currently underway at the NYTEX Sports Centre. The completion date is set for September. Future patrons can visit ZuRoma's other location in Grapevine (2140 Hall Johnson Rd #118) to preview the upcoming restaurant's menu.
