Yard Goats Playoffs Series to Begin Tuesday on Road

Hartford Yard Goats News Release
Hartford, Conn - The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, will begin its Eastern League playoff series on the road in Reading, Pennsylvania on Tuesday night at 6:45 PM. The Yard Goats will battle the Philadelphia Phillies affiliate, the Reading Fightin Phils, in a best-of-three series for the Northeast Division Championship (ELDS) with Game 2 at Dunkin' Park on Thursday, September 17th (6:30 PM) and the decisive Game 3 (if necessary) at Dunkin' Park on Friday, September 18th (6:30 PM).
The winner of the Divisional Championship will advance to the best-of-three Eastern League Championship Series (ELCS) which will begin Sunday, September 20th in either Richmond, Virginia or Erie, Pennsylvania. The Yard Goats won the first half Championship and Reading clinched the second half title.
