Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce the signing of Ryan Flaherty to a Tender. The 5'11, 170lb Right handed forward from Edina, MN played in 30 games last season for the Edina Varsity team, putting up 11 goals and 14 assists. So far this season playing in the Minnesota Elite League for Team SIT Financial Services, Ryan has 8 goals and 14 assists in 17 games played.
"Very excited to sign Ryan Flaherty to a tender. Ryan currently plays for the Minnesota High School powerhouse Edina Hornets and for Team SIT in the Minnesota Elite League where he has registered 22 points in 17 GP this fall. Ryan is a very hard working and skilled right shot forward that plays with a lot of jam. He has had a great start to this season and is poised to go on a deep run into his HS season with Edina. Ryan has had the chance to visit and take in a game here so he knows what is going on around here. Coach Langer and I are very excited to have Ryan be officially part of the Wings family."- Wings Assistant Coach Eric Hirschhaut
"Excited to be a part of the Aberdeen Wings family"- Ryan Flaherty
