Veteran Play-By-Play Voice to Call Select Thunderbirds Games on FOX 13+

The Seattle Thunderbirds are pleased to announce Mike Benton, studio host for the Seattle Kraken, will once again have the call for five of the nine Thunderbirds broadcasted games during the 2022-23 regular season.
The first game on the broadcast schedule is this Friday, November 4 at 7:00pm from the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, as the Thunderbirds take on the Portland Winterhawks for the first time in the 2022-23 season.
"Television is the perfect platform to showcase the game we love," said television play-by-play announcer, Mike Benton. "I am extremely excited for this season of WHL coverage on FOX 13+ and Portland's CW. The U.S. Division highlights many of tomorrows NHL stars, and you will get the opportunity to see them play today. I can't wait to bring this historic rivalry to hockey fans and look forward to continuing to grow hockey across the Pacific Northwest."
T-Birds season tickets for the 2022-23 regular season are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
