May 10, 2011 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

(Allentown, Pa.) - The surging IronPigs - winners of seven of their last ten contests - return home for a quick-hitting four-game series against the Norfolk Tides beginning on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. The most sought-after giveaway in Minor League Baseball this season, Monday's Harry Kalas Talking Bobblehead giveaway, accents a particularly exciting promotional weekend at Coca-Cola Park.

Tickets for all upcoming IronPigs games can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park, by calling (610) 841-PIGS or online at ironpigsbaseball.com. Despite leading all of Minor League Baseball in average attendance in 2010 with 9,227 fans per game, prices for single-game tickets remain identical for the fourth consecutive season and start as low as $6 for General Admission, granting fans access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area and standing room only areas. Field Level reserved seats are just $9.

The IronPigs-Tides series starts with a bang on Friday at 7:05 p.m. with another sensational post-game Friday Night Fireworks presented by Coors Light at Coca-Cola Park. Stick around following every Friday home game for spectacular fireworks displays unrivaled in Eastern Pennsylvania. Also, Fly-Away-Friday presented by the Lehigh Valley International Airport will award a lucky fan a trip for two.

The AT&T Plaza gates will open early on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. as the IronPigs prepare for Game Two of their series with a special pre-game Faith Night Concert performed by Fair Warning Ministries thanks to The Light 1160 AM. Come hungry and thirsty and enjoy food and drink specials while listening to live music and watching batting practice from the AT&T Plaza.

All Saturday home games at Coca-Cola Park have a 6:35 p.m. start time and Club Gates will open for Club Level patrons beginning at 5 p.m.

The first 2,000 women 18 and older attending Sunday's 1:35 p.m. game will take home Pink Jersey Purses, courtesy of American Bank as part of a belated Mother's Day celebration.

Immediately following Sunday's game, all children 12 and under can show off their speed with Kids Run the Bases presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.

The series wraps up on Monday at 7:05 p.m. with arguably the most anticipated promotion in club history - the Harry Kalas Talking Bobblehead giveaway for the first 3,000 fans 18 and older as part of Harry Kalas Tribute Night. Kalas was the iconic voice of Phillies baseball for two generations before passing away on April 13, 2009 after spending 39 seasons as the "Voice of the Phillies". He received the Ford C. Frick award for his contributions to baseball broadcasting and was enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2002.

Also on Monday, there will also be a Morning Call pre-game autograph session with select IronPigs players from 6:00-6:20 p.m. on the main concourse. Be sure to pick up a copy of Sunday's Morning Call to receive the IronPigs photo insert featuring IronPigs outfielder, Delwyn Young and pitcher, Juan Perez.

With the exception of Saturday home games, the Main Gates open 75 minutes prior to game time while the Club Level gates open 90 minutes before scheduled first pitch time.

Fans are reminded that there are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown. In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard. Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.

The cost of parking in Coca-Cola Park's brand-new "Pig Tail Porking Spaces" is $3 per vehicle for all IronPigs home games.

Single-game tickets, mini-plan packages and group tickets for all IronPigs home games presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling (610) 841-PIGS.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are dedicated to providing family-friendly entertainment and are the only Minor League team to offer bubbles to fans entering the AT&T Plaza and balloons for all children exiting Coca-Cola Park.
