Stingrays Launch Online Jersey Auction

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that they will host their annual online jersey auction on the Stingrays website, Stingrayshockey.com . starting today, April 28 and continuing through Thursday, May 6th at 10:00 p.m. The auction is open to all fans interested in bidding on the white Stingrays jerseys worn by the players during the second half of the 2009-10 season and playoffs.
The auction features 29 game-worn Stingrays jerseys including fan favorites Matt Scherer, Nate Kiser and Spencer Carbery. The auction also includes the first professional jerseys of defensemen Jeff Caister and Derek Keller along with forward David de Kastrozza. In addition to the jerseys, the Stingrays will also be auctioning off a game-used 2009 Kelly Cup Champions banner that was embedded in the ice for all 36 Stingrays home games and three playoff contests.
