
Stephan Hicks Breaks Fort Wayne Mad Ants Three Point Franchise Record

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada - Stephan Hicks has broken the Fort Wayne Mad Ants franchise record for three pointers made. Hicks broke the record with a 26 foot shot at the 9:36 mark of the second quarter of tonight's game as the Mad Ants visited Raptors 905. That three pointer, off a Daxter Miles Jr. assist, was Hicks' 228th three pointer in his Mad Ants career.
The previous record was 227, set by Ramon Harris. Hicks tied that franchise mark earlier in the game, hitting a 25 foot shot at the 9:47 mark of the first quarter off a C.J. Wilcox assist.
Hicks had moved into second place in three pointers in franchise history on Sunday, February 23 vs. Canton, passing Rod Wilmont.
He ended the night 3-of-4 from three point range and sits at 229 three pointers made as a Mad Ant. He scored 15 points in the 113-96 loss.
Hicks is now the all-time franchise leader in offensive rebounds, total rebounds, regular season wins and three pointers made.
He ranks second in Fort Wayne Mad Ants history in games played, points, field goals made, field goals attempted, field goal percentage, three pointers attempted, free throws made, free throws attempted, defensive rebounds and total wins as a Mad Ant.
