Silvertips Unveil 2023 Pink the Rink Jerseys
October 17, 2023 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Everett Silvertips News Release
EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips have officially unveiled their 2023 Pink the Rink sweaters, to be worn on Saturday, Oct. 21. Everett will host the Portland Winterhawks at Angel of the Winds Arena, with puck drop scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
There will be a special pre-game ceremony honoring breast cancer survivors. All tickets sold through the Everett Silvertips website will forward a donation to the Providence Comprehensive Breast Center, benefitting cancer patients in Snohomish County. Silvertips players visited Providence Everett Cancer Partnership on Monday to meet with caretakers and patients.
Game-worn jerseys will be auctioned through the Providence website this week (details to follow).
The throwback-style "E" logo is a revival of the Silvertips' 2017-18 jersey, originally worn in honor of the team's 15th anniversary. The enhanced green-and-pink tree/mountain line is an alternate take on an iconic element that has been featured on Silvertips sweaters since the team's inception in 2003.
Pink the Rink 2023 is presented by the Safeway Foundation and the Providence General Foundation.
