Salt Lake Stallions Announce ESPN 700 Radio Broadcast Team

Salt Lake City, Utah - The Salt Lake Stallions today announced the local radio broadcast team for the inaugural season in The Alliance of American Football. As previously announced, all ten games (home and away) will be broadcast on Broadway Media's flagship station, ESPN 700*.

Dave Fox (@DaveFox2 ) will handle the play-by-play duties while Frank Dolce (@thehumandetour ) and Steve Tate (@tate28 ) will serve as color commentary and sideline reporters. The Salt Lake Stallions will begin their quest to 'Corral the West' as they open the season against the Arizona Hotshots on February 10th in Tempe, Arizona and continue throughout the 10-week Alliance of American Football's inaugural campaign.

In addition to their game day duties, Frank Dolce and Dave Fox will share hosting duties on the weekly Stallions' Coaches Show throughout the inaugural 2019 season. The weekly Coaches show will air on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm throughout the season. Team General Manager Randy Mueller will also make weekly call-in appearances on various ESPN700 daily programming.

Broadcast Team Bios

Veteran Sportscaster and Emmy award winner Dave Fox has been the lead Sports Anchor at KUTV (CBS affiliate) for more than 31 years. During his tenure, Dave not only broadcasts the Sports nightly on the KUTV newscast, but is also the anchor for the nightly half hour Sports program "Talkin Sports" on KMYU. Beyond the anchor desk, Dave has been the voice of the KUTV Sports family for a variety of live sports programming on KUTV as well as sister stations KMYU and KJZZ. For nearly a decade, Dave was the play-by-play voice for the University of Utah Football and Basketball broadcasts, as well as broadcasting games for Utah State.

Frank Dolce was the starting quarterback at the University of Utah from 1991-92, and he stayed involved with the University after finishing his collegiate athletic career, serving as a member of the Young Alumni, Crimson Club, Pioneer Theater, David Eccles School of Business and Marriott Library boards. In addition, Dolce has previous experience as a color commentator for Utah football as part of a radio broadcast team.

Steve Tate is a former all-conference safety who played at the University of Utah and graduated in 2007. While at the University of Utah, Steve Tate started three years and lead the team in tackles for two of those years while also being elected team captain. After his career at the University of Utah, Steve went on to do part-time work for various radio stations and television stations in the Salt Lake Valley. He's an avid childhood cancer advocate and formed a foundation to help families battling childhood cancer. The foundation is known as the Hayestough foundation after his late son, Hayes. Steve also coaches his son's little league football team and resides in the Salt Lake City area.

*ESPN700 will be the official over the air broadcast partner for all ten Stallions games in the inaugural 2019 season. In the event of a conflict with other partners, Broadway Media may occasionally move broadcast to an alternate station within its group: KOVO (ESPN960), KYMV or KEGA.
