Daryl Thompson â Savannah Sand Gnats
Daryl Thompson earned South Atlantic League BC® Powder Pitcher of the Week honors going 2-0 in his two starts this week with a perfect 0.00 ERA. Thompson scattered 8 hits in his 12.0 innings pitched, struck out 10 and walked only 2 batters. Daryl raised his record to 2-1 on the season with a 1.75 ERA in his 5 starts. Thompson earned victories on the road against Rome on April 26th and at home against Columbus on May 1st.

Matthew Miller â Asheville Tourists
Matthew Miller earned South Atlantic League BC® Powder Batter of the Week honors hitting .500 in his 6 games played this week. Miller hit safely 12 times in his 24 at bats with 3 doubles, 2 homeruns, 8 RBI, 4 runs scored and a .875 slugging percentage. Miller went 4 for 5 on the road against the Delmarva Shorebirds on April 28th and followed that up on April 29th by going 3 for 4 against the Shorebirds. Miller is currently tied for 1st in the South Atlantic League with 34 hits.
