Rosters Set for West Tennessee High School All-Star Game

JACKSON, TENN (JUNE 6, 2010) - The Diamond Jaxx are proud to announce in 2010, the Third Annual West Tennessee High School All-Star Game, sponsored by BancorpSouth and the Diamond Jaxx.

Players were nominated by their high school coaches, and 40 players from 20 different schools from around West Tennessee were selected for the All-Star game. Brent Fronabarger, head baseball coach at Union University, will be coaching the Blue team. Coaching the Gray team is Rusty Thompson, the head baseball coach at Bethel University. Attached to this e-mail is the roster for each team.

The game will be played on Wednesday, June 9th at 6:05pm. The event will follow the Diamond Jaxx game, which is at 12:05pm against the Mississippi Braves. Tickets for the event are available day of game only for $5.00, or free with the purchase of a Diamond Jaxx ticket for the 12:05pm game.

Also, the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportplex is proud to announce the 2010 West Tennessee High School Softball All-Star Game, showcasing the area's best senior softball players. The game will be played on Wednesday, June 9th at 4:00pm in Complex D at the Sportplex, next to Pringles Park.
