
Northwest Arkansas Naturals 2022 Playing Schedule Announced

SPRINGDALE, Ark - Major League Baseball today unveiled the Northwest Arkansas Naturals 2022 Game Schedule, a 138-game slate that is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 8th with the Naturals on the road for a three-game series in Springfield before returning to Arvest Ballpark for Opening Night against Wichita on Tuesday, April 12th. All game times for the 2022 season will be announced at a later date.
The 2022 regular season schedule will consist of 69 games at Arvest Ballpark. The regular season will span across six months with the home opener on Tuesday, April 12th while the home and regular season finale will fall on Sunday, September 18th. The Naturals will host a total of 24 games on Friday and Saturday and will be home on Easter (April 17th), Father's Day (June 19th), and on the Fourth of July.
The home game against the Tulsa Drillers on Monday, July 4th will mark the first time that the Naturals will play at Arvest Ballpark on Independence Day since the 2017 season when they hosted San Antonio.
The 2022 campaign includes eleven separate six-game homestands and a three-game homestand against Springfield (July 22-24). The Wichita Wind Surge (Double-A Minnesota Twins), Springfield Cardinals (Double-A St. Louis Cardinals), and Tulsa Drillers (Double-A Los Angeles Dodgers) will each make two trips to Arvest Ballpark next season while the Amarillo Sod Poodles (Double-A Arizona Diamondbacks), Arkansas Travelers (Double-A Seattle Mariners), Corpus Christi Hooks (Double-A Houston Astros), Frisco RoughRiders (Double-A Texas Rangers), and San Antonio Missions (Double-A San Diego Padres) will only make one visit. The Midland RockHounds (Double-A Oakland Athletics) are the only Double-A Central team that will not make a trip to play the Naturals at Arvest Ballpark next year.
