MLS on TSN 2024 Broadcast Schedule Set

VANCOUVER, BC - Major League Soccer announced on Tuesday the 2024 TSN and RDS broadcast schedule, featuring 14 Vancouver Whitecaps FC matches throughout the regular season.

VWFC on TSN Highlights

14 matches throughout each month of the season, with August featuring the Leagues Cup

Six doubleheaders, including May 11 CF Montreal vs. Inter Miami CF followed by Whitecaps FC on the road in a playoff rematch at LAFC

Season Opener on March 2 and 50th Anniversary Match on May 4

Four matches versus Seattle and Portland, as the 'Caps look to defend the Cascadia Cup

Four consecutive September weekend home matches during playoff push

As in 2023, with over 40 per cent of the season included, Whitecaps FC will be on TSN every month of the MLS regular season, outside of August when the Leagues Cup will feature select matches aired on TSN. Game dates and times for Leagues Cup 2024 will be announced at a later time.

The 'Caps will kick off the slate with their season opener against Charlotte FC at BC Place on Saturday, March 2. The first match is just over one month away, the upper bowl is open, and over 25,000 tickets have already been sold.

Six Canadian doubleheaders also highlight the schedule, including a May 11 showing of CF Montreal hosting Inter Miami CF, followed by a playoff rematch for Whitecaps FC on the road at Los Angeles FC. The 2023 road match at LAFC was the 'Caps most watched TSN match of the season as the Blue & White played to a thrilling 3-2 victory behind a Ryan Gauld Player of the Matchday performance.

Saturday, May 4 sees the 'Caps 50th Anniversary Match as they take on Austin FC, nearly 50 years to the day of the first match for the club on May 5, 1974.

The Cascadia Cup will be front and centre all year long, with four matches against Seattle and Portland, starting with an April 20 road match in Seattle as Sounders FC celebrate their own 50th anniversary.

The end of the season will be closely watched, featuring four consecutive September weekend matches against FC Dallas, San Jose Earthquakes, at Los Angeles Galaxy, and versus Portland. For the complete schedule visit whitecapsfc.com/schedule.
