
MiLB Charities "15 for 15" Initiative to Raise Money for Oklahoma Tornado Victims Underway

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-Minor League Baseball⢠Charities announced today that it is partnering with 51 clubs, MiLB⢠and Professional Baseball Umpire Corp. (PBUCâ¢), whose on-line stores are hosted on MiLB.com, in a "15 for 15" initiative to raise funds to assist those affected by the tornadoes in Oklahoma the last two weeks. Beginning today, participants have agreed to donate 15% of every order received through their online stores through June 17 to MiLB Charities as part of a donation the entity will make on behalf of its clubs to the Oklahoma City Red Cross. A banner ad identifying the 15 for 15 contribution program has been placed on each participating store site to alert fans as to the positive impact of their purchase.

The Brooklyn Cyclones, Erie SeaWolves, New Orleans Zephyrs and Potomac Nationals will participate in the program through their own team stores and will provide MiLB Charities with a donation to add to the 15 for 15 funds.
