July 23, 2022 - Northwest League (NWL)
Everett AquaSox News Release
Last night at Funko Field, the 3,595 fans in the ballpark were treated to the Noelvi Marte Show! The AquaSox shortstop continued his hot hitting, going 4-5 with three doubles, a home run, seven RBI's - all on his way to accumulating 10 total bases on the night! Also, Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger was 1-2 with an RBI in his rehab appearance.
Tonight is our highly anticipated "Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond" game! As part of the fun, your Frogs will take the field wearing AquaSox Black Panther jerseys.
We encourage fans to join the festivities and come dressed as their favorite Marvel Super Hero™.
But the fun doesn't stop there! Fans will have the chance to win big prizes playing our post-game Launch-A-Ball contest, to be followed by another amazing fireworks show, brought to you by Boeing.
Also on Saturday, fans will have the chance to make a difference in our community. Representatives from Clothes For Kids will be on hand accepting your donations at the main gates. Clothes For Kids provides school clothing to students in need throughout all of Snohomish County, and are especially looking for donations of new and gently-used clothing. Their school clothing starts at size 3T and goes up to plus-size teen. The most-needed items are: Hoodies and sweatshirts, athletic shoes, heavy winter coats, underwear and socks.
