
Mark Kastelic Returns as Captain for 2019-20 Season

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club announced today the leadership group for the 2019/20 season. Mark Kastelic returns as team captain while Dakota Krebs, Jett Woo, Riley Stotts and Carson Focht will form the remainder of the team's leadership core.
Kastelic, who enters his fifth campaign with Calgary, becomes the fourth player in franchise history to wear the `C' in back-to-back seasons. Krebs and Stotts will each wear an `A' for the second consecutive year. Dakota Krebs and Jett Woo will serve as full-time alternate captains while Riley Stotts and Carson Focht will share the third `A'.
"Our leadership core is a mature, experienced group of players who impact our locker room on and off the ice," said head coach Steve Hamilton. "They set and maintain the standard of excellence that we expect from each player that wears the Hitmen jersey. We are very proud to have these five players represent our leadership group."
Calgary visits the Edmonton Oil Kings Saturday evening at Rogers Place, before hosting the Saskatoon Blades on Monday, Oct. 14 for a 2:00 p.m. matinee presented by Rangeland Engineering. The Thanksgiving Day game will feature AirBand Together for a Wish, presented by euroPRODUCTIONS, which will see several teams compete in an air band competition in The Club before the game. All proceeds will be directed to the Children's Wish Foundation and the Hitmen will facilitate a wish grant during the first intermission.
The 2019-20 Hitmen Hockey Pass is on sale now and includes 33 game tickets plus one ticket voucher to be used anytime, in any combination. Pass holders also receive a special 25th anniversary jersey, $50 Scotiabank Saddledome gift card and a complimentary ticket to a select Flames, Roughnecks or Stampeders game. Passes start at less than $7 per ticket for kids and under $15 for adults.
Also available is the 10-game Hitmen Flex Pack to be used for any game in any combination and a Sunday Funday Pack. The Sunday Funday Pack features nine Sunday Funday tickets and one Teddy Bear Toss ticket for only $10 per game for kids and $16 per game for adults.
