Lizards Stock Roster for Training Camp in MLL Supplemental Draft

New York Lizards News Release
Uniondale, NY -- The Long Island Lizards selected 22 players in the 2006 MLL Supplemental Draft last week. The Lizards held the ninth selection in each of the 22 rounds. The Lizards selected former New Jersey Pride midfielder Austin Garrison with their first-round selection. Garrison, a native of New Canaan, CT, has three years of MLL experience after a successful collegiate career at North Carolina.
The Lizards also selected Hewlett native Jason Doneger in the second round. Doneger, who graduated Princeton last year, scored eight goals in only four starts with the Rochester Rattlers this season. Long Island selected Shoreham native Peter Vlahakis, a faceoff wizard who played for New Jersey last season. Vlahakis is currently an Assistant Coach at Adelphi University.
The Lizards open their 2006 training camp on Saturday, April 29th.
