Inter Miami CF II Set to Face New England Revolution on the Road this Sunday

Inter Miami CF II (3W-1L-1D, 10 points) is hitting the road this weekend for its upcoming MLS NEXT Pro regular season fixture, with the team set to face New England Revolution II this Sunday, April 28 at Mark A. Inter Miami II will be looking to bounce back after most recently falling 6-2 on the road against Chattanooga FC on April 13. Midfielder Alejandro Flores and forward Ryan Carmichael scored the team's goals in the match to register their first goals of the season.

Inter Miami II currently occupies the fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings with 10 points this season. Forward Leo Afonso leads the Herons in goals this MLS Next Pro season with four and is tied for third place amongst the league's top scorers, while midfielders Flores and Pep Casas lead the team in assists with two apiece.

New England Revolution II, meanwhile, enters this match fresh off a 1-1 draw on the road against Toronto FC II in which the team won the extra point in the subsequent penalty shootout in the team's last fixture on April 19. New England will host Inter Miami II for the only matchup between the sides this regular season, currently sitting 11th in the MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference table with a record of one win, three losses and a draw for a total five points.
