Ice Bears Capture Fourth SPHL President's Trophy

Knoxville, TN - Knoxville Ice Bears defeated the Mississippi RiverKings 4-2 in front of a near sellout crowd of 4,671 to secure their fourth SPHL title in ten years .
Eric Satim scored two goals and was supported by goals from Francis Drolet and Matthew Paton.
The Mississippi RiverKings managed two goals from Matt Whitehead and Mike Grace off of 38 shots on net.
Bryan Hince won the playoff MVP with his five consecutive win performance.
The Knoxville Ice Bears will be hosting their annual golf tournament at Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country Club on Monday, April 20th. There is are a few remaining spots and if you are interested in participating, tee time are at 1 pm. Show up by 11:30 to register.
There will be a celebration on Market Square at 12 pm on Wednesday, April 22.
