The NLL World Champion Georgia Swarm today announced its theme nights for the 2017-18 regular season. The Swarm's third year in Georgia will be highlighted by its inaugural Concert Series, featuring musical performances during three home games.

In total, Georgia hosts nine regular season home games in 2017-18, and the team's commitment to being one of the premier entertainment events in the Southeast strengthened after the 2017 Championship season.

"The fans supporting us last season to our first-ever World Championship were exceptional, and we wanted them to enjoy the experience of a Swarm game even more with an excellent lineup of theme nights," Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. "From having big Atlanta celebrities like 2 Chainz perform to recognizing the roots of our beloved sport with Native American Heritage Night to showing our appreciation for our troops and first responders on Heroes Night, we aimed to give the fans an unmatched experience in the stands to match the excitement on the floor."

Georgia's home opener at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Field at Infinite Energy Arena will be the NLL's Twitter Game of the Week and take place on Saturday, Dec. 30 at 7:05 p.m. ET against the Rochester Knighthawks. The Swarm will unveil its Championship banner in a pregame ceremony celebrating its first-ever Champion's Cup and Georgia's first professional sporting championship in 22 years. In honor of the Championship Banner Unveiling Night presented by Peachtree Orthopedics, Atlanta-based GRAMMY® Award-winning hip-hop artist 2 Chainz will perform during halftime.

The Swarm follows up a week later with Star Wars Night presented by Infiniti of Gwinnett. Georgia will take the floor against the Saskatchewan Rush on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 7:05 p.m. ET, the two teams' first regular season rematch since the electric 2017 Champion's Cup.

Georgia will host the annual fan favorite Love is in The Hive presented by IceByrd Frozen Yogurt on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 6:05 p.m. ET. The Swarm will take on Rochester for the second time this season during the Valentine's Day-themed night.

The Toronto Rock come to The Hive on Saturday, Feb. 17, just in time for Country Night. Presented by JT Stratford, the game will feature the second performance in the Swarm's inaugural Concert Series with a halftime and postgame performance by a country artist. Faceoff is set for 7:05 p.m. ET.

On Friday, March 2, the Swarm takes on the Colorado Mammoth during Ladies Night presented by 680 the Fan. Stay tuned for further details about a new in-game promo on this night called Diamond Drop, presented by Tara Fine Jewelry.

Georgia pays homage to the men and women who protect and serve our country with Heroes Night presented by Axiom Corporation on Sunday, March 18 at 4:05 p.m. ET. An annual tradition, the night will feature opening ceremonies celebrating our heroes' valor and deeds while the Swarm takes on the Buffalo Bandits.

Georgia welcomes the New England Black Wolves on Saturday, March 24 and will host Native American Heritage Night, presented by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians & Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort. Before the 7:05 p.m. ET faceoff, a pregame ceremony educating fans about Native American culture will take place. The Swarm will don special Native American jerseys for the game in honor of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and the tribe's cultural and historical game of Stickball, a precursor to lacrosse.

The third Concert Series of the season will take place on Faith & Family Night presented by Howard Brothers Hardware. Georgia hosts the Rock on Sunday, April 8 at 4:05 p.m. ET, and a Christian band will perform at halftime and postgame.

The final regular season game of the season will be on Saturday, April 28 with a faceoff at 7:05 p.m. ET. With the Vancouver Stealth as the final home opponent, Georgia will celebrate Fan Appreciation Night presented by Mitsubishi Electric Heating & Cooling. The Swarm will recognize the best lacrosse fans in the South to cap off the 2017-18 season.

Local Atlanta electronic band TASTE will perform a pregame concert in the lobby of the Infinite Energy Arena before every home game.
