January 27, 2003 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Dallas Desperados News Release
With several personnel moves over the past three days, the Desperados finalized their regular season roster. To reach the league mandated 24 player maximum, Dallas released nine players, placed another three players on Reserve/Injured and placed WR/LB Ricky Hall on recallable waivers.
The Desperados begin preparations this week for their season opener against the New York Dragons. The Dragons visit Reunion Arena looking for a solid outing after finishing the 2002 season with a 3-11 record. The Desperados enter their second indoor season looking to improve on an inaugural season that saw the team make the playoffs with a 7-7 record, lead the league in attendance and receive the prestigious Commissioner's Award.
