Chicago Sky Announce 2023 Full Broadcast Schedule

CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky announced today its full broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2023 season.

Sky fans will be able to watch regular-season games locally on The U, CW26 and Marquee Sports Network. The U and CW26 will broadcast 15 total games across its WCIU platforms and Marquee Sports Network will broadcast and/or stream a total of 28 games this season.

The U is seen on WMEU, Channel 48.1 and WCIU, Channel 26.2, XFINITY 230|360, Astound TV 35, Dish 48, Spectrum Charter 191 and U-Verse 24. On YouTube TV search for The U. CW26 is seen on WCIU, Channel 26.1, XFINITY 183/1026, Astound TV 6, Dish 26, Direct TV 26, Spectrum Charter 22/616 and U-Verse 10/1010. On YouTube TV search for CW26.

The Sky will also be bringing back its talented group of announcers, including play-by-play announcers Jason Ross Jr. and Lisa Byington and color analysts Stephen Bardo and Meghan McKeown for full season Sky coverage.

Beginning this month, Marquee Sports Network has also premiered a new monthly show, "Chicago Sky: No Limits" hosted by Marquee's Sky reporter, Karli Bell, dedicated to showcasing the Chicago Sky both on and off the court with highlights, analytics and feature storytelling. Sky broadcasters Meghan McKeown and Jason Ross Jr. will contribute to the program, which premiered Monday, May 15.

Additional Chicago Sky news and coverage will also be available across Marquee Sports Network's digital and social platforms throughout the season. Marquee will air the season opener this Friday on its Marquee Plus platform, and the first Sky game this season on Marquee Sports Network will be on Sunday, May 28 vs. Dallas at 5:00 p.m. CT. Marquee Plus is a streaming-only channel available through the Marquee Sports Network app for authenticated Marquee subscribers.

For the first time in league history, WNBA games will now be televised on ION for select Friday night games throughout the season beginning May 26. The Sky will have a total of 10 Friday night games aired on ION running from May 26-September 8.

Furthermore, the Sky will have a plethora of games broadcasted nationally, including nine games on ESPN (seven on ESPN3, one on ESPN2 and one on ESPN/ESPN+), seven games on NBA TV, four games on CBS Sports Network, two games on Twitter and one game on Amazon Prime Video.

Additionally, Chicago's first nationally broadcasted game this season will be on Sunday, May 21 in Phoenix, the Mercury's season-opener, on ESPN/ESPN+. The Sky's second nationally broadcasted game will be on Sunday, September 3 against New York on ESPN2.

Entering its 18th WNBA season, the Sky finished the 2022 season with a franchise record of 26-10 and the second-highest overall record. General Manager/Head Coach James Wade won the WNBA Executive of the Year Award for 2022, along with Coach of the Month twice during June and July.
