Charleton Jimerson was a one-man wrecking crew as he belted two homers and finished 4-for-4 at the plate with 3 RBIs helping stop the Braves 5-game win streak in front of 1,407 fans at Pringles Park. The Braves (3-1) fell out of at least a tie for 1st for the first time since April 21st. The D-Jaxx (1-3) picked up their first win of the second half and just their 6th win in 19 tries agains the Braves this season.

Braves spot-starter Brad Nelson (3-1, 5.46 ERA) was unable to escape the fourth inning as he allowed 7 runs (5 earned) on 9 hits and the first homerun to Jimerson in losing his first game of the season. Nelson made the start in place of the recently promoted Jo-Jo Reyes. In the 4th inning Tyler Bullock entered and retired eight of the nine batters he faced except Jimerson who took him deep for his 2nd homer of the game. Zach Schreiber came in and tossed a perfect 7th and 8th inning.

The Braves avoided their first shutout since May 5th to Montgomery with an RBI single by Brandon Jones in the 8th inning bringing in Carl Loadenthal who led off the inning with a double.

Zach Schreiber (3-2, 1.96 ERA)was the Braves Players of the Game as he tossed 2 perfect frames and ran his scoreless inning streak to 4 straight while allowing no hits in the process.

The Braves will continue a 6-game series in Jackson, Tennessee at Pringles Park as they take on the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx, the AA Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, in the fifth game of their Southern League Series. The Braves On Deck Circle presented by Wendy's will air starting at 6:05pm (CT). The First Pitch will follow at 7:05pm (CT). The Braves are scheduled to send LHP Kelvin Villa (4-5, 5.48 ERA) to the hill in search of his 5th win, while the D-Jaxx will counter with RHP Travis Chick (2-0, 0.53 ERA) who is looking for his third straight victory while continuing his rehab stint with the D-Jaxx.
