Game day employees are the backbone of the Lancaster Barnstormers operation.
From parking lot attendants to ushers to concession workers, the game day staff has direct contact with the public and a great impact on the fan experience at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
From 6-8 PM on Tuesday, February 23, the Barnstormers will be hiring approximately 250 friendly faces to serve these critical functions for the 2016 season that will include 70 home games for the Barnstormers, five for the City Islanders FC and two for the PA Rebellion of the National Professional Fastpitch League.
Applications for parking staff, ticket takers and sellers, ushers, food services workers, cleaning crew, playground attendants, press box and video booth staff, batboys/girls, grounds crew and more will be accepted that evening. Those that are hired for these positions will get food, beverage and souvenir discounts along with complimentary guest passes that will enable them to share their fun summer at the ballpark with their friends and family.
People applying for these positions are required to be at least 16 years of age. Those under 18 must have the necessary work permits.
"This is a great way for area residents to enjoy the spring and summer at the stadium while picking up some extra spending money," said managing partner Rob Liss. "Having positive, smiling, helpful people engaged with our fans throughout each event at the stadium is a critical part of our customer service."
