Aberdeen IronBirds Announce 2019 Regular Season Schedule

Aberdeen, Md. - The Aberdeen IronBirds, Class A short-season affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, today announced its schedule for the 2019 regular season. The 38-game home slate is filled with activities the entire family can enjoy and is highlighted by season-long fan favorite promotions including Friday firework shows, pre-game Play Catch on the Field at Saturday home games and Kids Run the Bases and Senior Stroll post-games on Sundays.

Summer fun begins in Aberdeen on Friday, June 14 at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium when the IronBirds host the Hudson Valley Renegades for a two-game homestand. After a short road trip to Brooklyn, the IronBirds return home for a three-game series against the reigning New York-Penn League champion Tri-City ValleyCats, June 18-20.

"It's never too early to look forward to the next baseball season which is why we're so excited to share our 2019 schedule," said IronBirds General Manager Matt Slatus. "It's no secret that Leidos Field is Harford County's premier destination for summer fun and, of course, the best place to see your future Orioles."

The IronBirds will celebrate Independence Day on July 3 with a special fireworks show after the game against the Connecticut Tigers and will feature a variety of special entertainers during every Saturday home game this season.

Things in the New-York Penn League heat up in Aberdeen over the summer, including with series' the Lowell Spinners (July 7-9, July 13-15) and two late-summer series against the Vermont Lake Monsters (Aug. 2-4, Aug. 17-19). The IronBirds will close out the season at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium with a three-game series against the Brooklyn Cyclones (Aug. 28-30).

There are a variety of ways that fans and families can cheer on the 'Birds in 2019, starting with The Best Ticket Plan Ever 5-game ticket package or the new 10-game plan that includes all Friday and Saturday games. The 10-game season seat membership is priced at just $90 and gives fans access to fireworks and special entertainment at each game in the plan, plus a tenth game free.
