
Florida Tarpons Join AIF
October 7, 2015 - American Indoor Football (AIF) News Release
Baltimore MD, October 7, 2015 - AIF Owner/Commissioner John Morris announced today that the Florida Tarpons will join the league for the 2016 indoor season.
The Florida Tarpons are based in Estero, Florida founded in 2011. The Tarpons have 4 consecutive championship appearances with 2 championships. The Tarpons play their home games at Germain Arena.
Stated John Morris of the AIF, "We are excited to bring in a team of the Tarpons caliber. This adds another championship team to the AIF family. This will further solidify our regional footprint in the south."
The AIF now boasts 20 teams throughout the Mid-West and down into Texas. The expansion of AIF has occurred several times in the 2015 off-season. The AIF has established itself as one of the top professional indoor leagues in the United States
