
D-Fenders Acquire Dexter Strickland

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired guard Dexter Strickland, it was announced today by General Manager Nick Mazzella.
Strickland appeared in 22 games last season with the Idaho Stampede, averaging 4.5 points, 1.3 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game.
The Rahway, New Jersey native played four years at the University of North Carolina, averaging 7.0 points, 2.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 24.1 minutes per game. Strickland started all 36 games as a senior, tallying 7.8 points, 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals in 27.8 minutes per game.
