
Rampage Sign NHL Veteran Brian Sutherby to PTO

SAN ANTONIO (October 21, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed center Brian Sutherby to a professional try-out (PTO).
Sutherby, 29, has appeared in 460 career National Hockey League (NHL) games totaling 41 goals and 49 assists with Washington, Anaheim and Dallas over the course of 10 seasons (2001-11).
The Edmonton, Alberta native has collected 12 goals and 28 assists in 66 career AHL games with the Portland Pirates over the course of four seasons (2000-01, 2002-05). He was selected by the Washington Capitals in the first round (26th overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rampage will take on the Peoria Rivermen tonight in a 7 p.m. matchup at the AT&T Center. Tonight features a KZEP Dollar Drink Night and an OVERTIME performance by Silent Minority.
