(April 19) - Following three successful Three Rivers Celebrity Softball games and the game's star Cameron Heyward being honored as the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year, the fourth installment of the event has been announced by the Washington Wild Things. Wild Things Sign Alexander Ovalles After Five-Season MiLB Run

April 18, 2024 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have come close to finalizing the camp roster for the upcoming spring training portion of the 2024 season. Today the team signed infielder Alexander Ovalles in a move presented by McClellands Contracting and Roofing, LLC. The 23-year-old native of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic split parts of five minor-league seasons between three different organizations: the Chicago Cubs, the Texas Rangers and most recently the Tampa Bay Rays. Hector Roa to Retire as a Wild Thing, Poster Giveaway Announced for May 11

April 16, 2024 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have added to the 2024 promo schedule with today's announcement of a Hector Roa poster giveaway presented by the Perryman Company, slated for Saturday, May 11. The game against the Schaumburg Boomers is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and the night will include the giveaway and a short ceremony for Roa's retirement from baseball officially as a Wild Thing. Washington Announces 2024 Field Staff

April 15, 2024 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have announced their 2024 field staff, headlined by fourth-year manager Tom Vaeth. Vaeth will be joined by the same assistants as 2023 in pitching coach Alex Boshers and bench coach Ryan Whithorn. Hailey Drollinger has been hired as the club's head athletic trainer.
