Blades' Late Push Falls Short in Game 1
March 29, 2024 - SHAKE IT OFF: NHL drafted forwards Egor Sidorov and Alexander Suzdalev combined for three goals, but it wasn't enough as the Saskatoon Blades dropped Game 1 to the Prince Albert Raiders 4-3 at SaskTel Centre on Thursday. Sidorov scored the opening goal of the game in the final 20 seconds of the first period, and brought the Blades within one goal late in the third. March 26, 2024 - Saskatoon, SK - Saskatoon Blades captain Trevor Wong, alternate captain Tanner Molendyk, and forward Egor Sidorov have been named to the WHL's East Division First All-Star Team. The league made the announcement Tuesday afternoon. Wong recorded a career-high 101 points in 68 games with the Blue and Gold this season. March 26, 2024 - Saskatoon, SK - Saskatoon Blades alternate captain Charlie Wright has been named to the WHL's East Division Second All-Star Team for the 2023-24 season. The league announced the all-stars for all four divisions Tuesday afternoon. The pending WHL graduate was a steadying presence on the Blades blue line in his final season.
