Madison Mallards and Madison Night Mares Begin Turf Installation at Warner Park
April 23, 2024 - The Madison Mallards are excited to announce that installation of the field turf at Warner Park has begun as of Monday, April 2nd. The installation of turf at Warner Park will allow convenience of switching fields between Madison Mallards and Madison Night Mares softball games. This will be the first summer since the stadium at Warner Park was built in 1982 that the playing surface will be anything other than natural grass. Madison Softball to Unveil Its Name and Logo to the Public
April 16, 2024 - Following a public "Name the Team" contest and three rounds of fan voting, the Madison Softball team will unveil its name and logo to the public on Saturday, April 20th at 5:00 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater as part of a free event open to all fans. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. with the announcement coming at 5:30 p.m. This event will include live music, live animals, games, access to team merchandise, snacks, and a cash bar. Madison Softball Names Laurèn Schiek as Assistant Coach
March 29, 2024 - Madison Softball is excited to announce that Laurèn Schiek has been named as the Assistant Coach for Madison Softball. Schiek, an Oshkosh, Wisconsin native, played her college career at Santa Clara University and Abilene Christian University (ACU). At Santa Clara, Schiek pitched 96 innings across 43 appearances with 22 strikeouts. After transferring to ACU, Schiek posted 61 innings pitched across 31 appearances, including 6 starts, and 2 saves. Mankato Habaneros Announce First Player to Sign
March 15, 2024 - MANKATO, MN - With each passing day, the inaugural Habaneros season inches closer and closer to first pitch. With the new addition to the team, this season is chalking up to be quite promising. Amity White is looking to add some of her championship mentality to the Habaneros as the team's first player to be signed. The Brundidge Alabama native lettered all four seasons at Pike County High School, earning some pretty impressive stats along the way.
