Elks Sign Spencer OL Masterson and LB Aubrey Miller Jr.

April 24, 2024 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced Wednesday the signings of National Spencer Masterson (OL) and American Aubrey Miller Jr. (LB). A sixth round pick by the Elks in the 2023 CFL draft, Masterson attended training camp with the Double E before suffering a season-ending injury in the preseason opener against the Calgary Stampeders. April 24, 2024 - TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today they have signed American OL Darta Lee. Lee, 25, spent time with the Memphis Showboats (USFL) and Arlington Renegades (XFL) in 2024 and 2023, respectively. The Texas native spent four seasons at The University of Texas at El Paso (2018-2021), playing 30 games over his Miners career. Shawn Lemon Suspended Indefinitely for Wagering on CFL

April 24, 2024 - TORONTO - Defensive lineman Shawn Lemon has been suspended indefinitely for participating in sports wagering activities involving Canadian Football League (CFL) games, including one in which he played. An investigation uncovered that Mr. Lemon bet on CFL games in 2021 while a member of the Calgary Stampeders. While the investigation uncovered clear and irrefutable evidence of Mr. Lemon's participation, no evidence was found to indicate matches were in any way impacted by his wagering.
