Edmonton Signs Randy DL Charlton
April 23, 2024 - EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have signed American Randy Charlton (DL), the club announced Tuesday. Charlton played his final two college seasons (2021-22) at Mississippi State. In 25 games for the Bulldogs, the Florida product registered 71 total tackles, 12 tackles-for-loss, eight sacks, and two forced fumbles. Prior to joining Mississippi State, he spent three seasons (2018-20) at the University of Central Florida, appearing in 33 games for the Knights. Stampeders Prepare for Drafts
April 23, 2024 - The Canadian Football League's global and national drafts will both be held on Tuesday, Apr. 30. Starting at 9 a.m. MDT, it's the global draft featuring talent from around the world. The Calgary Stampeders currently have two selections in the two-round global draft including the fourth overall pick. Later in the day, starting at 6 p.m. MDT, the national draft gets underway with the top Canadian talent available. April 20, 2024 - WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed American receiver Myron Mitchell. Mitchell (6-1, 180; Alabama-Birmingham; born: June 17, 1998, in Jasper, AL) joins the Blue Bombers after spending last season with the Birmingham Stallions. Originally signed by the Michigan Panthers, Mitchell was traded to the Stallions and appeared in 10 games, pulling in 15 passes for 138 yards and one touchdown while helping Birmingham capture its second consecutive USFL title.
