Minnesota Lynx Sign Camryn Taylor, Mimi Collins and Quinesha Lockett to Training Camp Contracts
April 23, 2024 - MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed forwards Camryn Taylor, Mimi Collins and guard Quinesha (quin-EE-shuh) Lockett to training camp contracts. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not released. Taylor, 6-2, appeared in 28 games (26 starts) for the University of Virginia Cavaliers last season, averaging 14.8 points on 46.5% shooting, including 83.5% from the free throw line, and a team-high 6.1 rebounds in 24.9 minutes of action in her graduate campaign. Liga Mexicana de Beisbol: Mexico's top-level professional LMB, or Mexican Baseball League, recently started its 2024 season with 20 teams aligned in a ten-team Zona Norte (North Division) and a Zona Sur (South Division). The league expanded to 20 teams this season with the addition of the new Dorados de Chihuahua (Chihuahua City) to the Zona Norte and the Conspiradores de Querétaro (Huimilpan) to the Zona Sur. April 22, 2024 - ATLANTA, Ga. - Demand has hit an all-time high for the WNBA's Atlanta Dream as the team announced that they sold out their season ticket allotment for the upcoming season and amassed record sales of single game tickets in their limited presale. The Atlanta Dream saw the largest single day of ticket sales Sunday, with five games already sold out in Gateway Center Arena.
