Isotopes Announce 2026 Player Award Winners
September 19, 2026 - The Albuquerque Isotopes announced their annual end-of-season player awards in an on-field ceremony prior to tonight's contest. Unless otherwise noted, the award winners were chosen by a vote of their teammates.
Outfielder Zac Veen was named the club's Most Valuable Player. Over 100 games, he slashed .327/.402/.635 with 33 doubles, 8 triples, 24 homers, 18 steals and 87 RBI. Kansas City Monarchs Win West Division, Headed to Championship
September 19, 2026 - Kansas City, KS - It was a wild night at Legends Field as the Monarchs got out to a hot start, never surrendered the lead, and outlasted the RedHawks with a 10-9 win to move on to the Finals.
If there was any momentum from Fargo's win yesterday, KC quickly erased that by driving three runs in the opening frame. Tyler Gentry drew a walk while Austin Callahan collected a base hit. This brought up the big hitter in Luken Baker who absolutely smashed a three-run blast to open up the contest.

Penultimate Game Victory
September 19, 2026 - Toledo, OH - The Toledo Mud Hens (73-74) defeated the Louisville Bats (65-82), 4-1, on Saturday, September 19, in game five of the series. Toledo didn't allow a Louisville run until the eighth inning as the Hens pitching staff retired one Bat after another through much of the contest.
On a rehab assignment from Detroit, RHP Jack Flaherty, started on the mound for the Hens. Flaherty hit two Bats with pitches and allowed a single, but a double play by the infield kept the slate clean.

Durham Takes Back Win in Extras
September 19, 2026 - Worcester, MA - Homer Bush singled home the go-ahead run in the 10th as the Durham Bulls edged past the Worcester Red Sox 4-3 at Polar Park on Saturday afternoon.
After Tatem Levins tied the game at 3-3 with a solo homer in the seventh against Tanner Houck (L, 0-1), Bush delivered a line single to left-center with two outs to put Durham (39-34) ahead.
Owen Wild (S, 4) retired three straight batters in the Worcester 10th, stranding the tying run at third to close out Durham's second win in five games in the series.
