September 8, 2025 - BASEBALL Coastal Plain League: With the move of the Single-A Carolina League's Carolina Mudcats from Zebulon (NC) to Wilson (NC) as the Wilson Warbirds for the 2026 season, the Capitol Broadcasting Company (CBC) has submitted a proposal to operate Zebulon's Five County Stadium and place a new summer-collegiate Coast Plain League (CPL) team in the stadium for the 2026 season. CBC purchased the CPL in 2022 and also owns the CPL's Holly Springs (NC) Salamanders and the Durham (NC) Bulls of the Triple-A International League. ... Full Story

September 7, 2025 - FREDERICKSBURG, V.A. - The Carolina Mudcats concluded their 35th and final season with a 6-3 victory over the Fredericksburg Nationals on Sunday afternoon at Virginia Credit Union Stadium. September 7, 2025 - Alex Mooney's sixth inning go-ahead single led the Akron RubberDucks past the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 4-3 on Sunday night at Canal Park. Turning Point After tying the game in the fifth, the RubberDucks looked to pull away in the 2025 home finale. Burke Grand Slam Leads Shuckers to Win in Home Finale

September 7, 2025 - BILOXI, MS - A Blake Burke grand slam powered the Biloxi Shuckers (70-62, 28-35) to a 4-1 win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (65-67, 31-32) on Sunday in the final home game of the regular season at Keesler Federal Park. With the win, the Shuckers recorded their 42nd of the year at home, the third-most in franchise history and clinched a winning record for the seventh time in franchise history.
