Dayton Demolition News Release
Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League (FHL), as part of the continued effort to solidify its membership foundation, has taken over operation of the Dayton Demolition, the League office announced today.
In a collective decision from the FHL Board of Governors, the Demolition membership will return to the League from its current ownership and continue as a member of the Federal Hockey League without their previous ownership group in place.
"After many months of attempting to work out an arrangement for the FHL to provide financial and operational support to current ownership, we were unable to successfully work something out and are thus terminating the membership of the current ownership group," FHL Commissioner Don Kirnan said. "FHL Govenor Barry Soskin been working non stop with a new ownership group to take over operations for the remainder of the 2015-16 season and keep Dayton hockey alive and well. An announcement about the new group is expected next week."
The Dayton Demolition return home next Thursday, Janaury 21st vs. Danville Dashers. Puck drop set for 7:30 p.m. Purchase tickets online at TicketMaster.com or by visiting the Hara Arena Box Office.
