New SPHL Teams & EIHL Ryan Finnerty On Puska on Pucks

The current and future minor league hockey landscape and a former North American pro hockey player turned coach highlight Episode 33 of Puska on Pucks, The Original Internet Hockey Show.

Host Denis J. Puska has a complete look at the minor league hockey landscape from junior to professional. He speaks with Bart Rogers part of the new co-ownership group of the Peoria Rivermen and Bloomington Blaze that have joined the Southern Professional Hockey League. Rogers will talk about the positives about joining the SPHL, and the new rivalry between the two Illinois-based teams.

The Braehead Clan of the EIHL have turned to former professional player Ryan Finnerty as their new Head Coach. Finnerty will talk about turning The Clan's program around and who some of his coaching influences are. The Clan is based in Glascow, Scotland.

Ice Chips News and Notes Presented By TST Media has a round-up of all of the hockey headlines including the Dubuque Fighting Saints to play in the Junior Club World Cup, as well as big changes happening to the Fort Wayne Komets.
