Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

(Allentown, Pa.) - The second half of Lehigh Valley's record-breaking homestand reignites on Tuesday and is loaded with the season's best giveaways including the limited-edition Harry Kalas bronze statue giveaway on Thursday. The home slate also includes a Vance Worley bobblehead giveaway, a Beverage Pitcher giveaway as part of a Cinco De Mayo celebration and another sensational edition of Friday Night Fireworks.

Tickets are still available for all upcoming IronPigs games and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park, by calling (610) 841-PIGS or online at ironpigsbaseball.com. Prices for single-game start as low as $7 for General Admission, granting fans access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area, the brand-new bar at the Red Robin Tiki Terrace & Oasis along with standing room only areas. Field Level reserved seats are just $10. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as Coca-Cola Park was Minor League Baseball's most visited venue in 2011 with seating capacity reached or surpassed during 60 of the club's 68 home dates.

The homestand renews with a bobblehead giveaway of former IronPigs' standout Vance Worley for the first 3,000 fans 18 and older attending Tuesday's 7:05 p.m. game against the Charlotte Knights. Worley starred with the Phillies during his rookie campaign, posting a spectacular 11-3 record with a 3.01 ERA in 2011. Also, during every Tuesday home game fans can play TD Bank Ballpark Bingo for a chance to win a $25 Visa Check Card and a team autographed baseball.

A quick turnaround welcomes the IronPigs and Knights when they continue their four-game series with Education Day #2 presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network on Wednesday morning at 10:35 a.m.

The first 3,000 fans 18 and older attending Thursday's 7:05 p.m. game will receive a replica Harry Kalas bronze statue presented by PPL EnergyPlus. Kalas was the iconic voice of Phillies baseball for two generations before passing away in 2009 after spending 39 seasons as the "Voice of the Phillies". He received the Ford C. Frick award for his contributions to baseball broadcasting and was enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2002.

Thursday's game also features a pre-game Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with live music and $2 domestic drink specials in the AT&T Plaza along with the brand-new Red Robin Oasis bar.

The IronPigs-Knights series concludes on Friday at 7:05 p.m. with another breathtaking Friday Night Fireworks show presented by Lehigh Valley Financial Group immediately following the contest. Every Friday Night Fireworks in 2012 has been revamped and reloaded to offer a unique vantage point and an up-close view of all the excitement.

Beverage Pitchers presented by Metro PCS lie ahead for the first 3,000 adults 18 and older attending Saturday's 6:35 p.m. contest against the Syracuse Chiefs. Our Cinco de Mayo celebration will include music from El Grupo Mexicano de Lehigh Valley in the AT&T Plaza from 5:15 to 6 p.m. and $3 Corona's all game long in the brand-new Red Robin Oasis bar and other select locations.

The record-breaking 13-game homestand comes to its conclusion on Sunday at 1:35 p.m. and the first 3,500 fans will receive a 5th Anniversary logo baseball courtesy of the National MS Society. Sunday games are perfect for families as Tootsee the Clown entertains and offers free balloon art for children! Immediately following Sunday's game, all children 12 and under can show off their speed with Kids Run the Bases presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.

With the exception of all Thursday home games when the Main gates open at 5 p.m. for Happy Hour specials, the Main Gates open 75 minutes prior to game time while the Club Level gates open 90 minutes before scheduled first pitch time.

Fans are reminded that there are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown. In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard. Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.

The cost of parking in Coca-Cola Park's "Pig Tail Porking Spaces" is $3 per vehicle for all IronPigs home games.

Single-game tickets, mini-plan packages and group tickets for all IronPigs home games presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling (610) 841-PIGS.

Don't forget to ask about the all-new four-person "islands" in the Red Robin Oasis located directly above the left field bullpens. Each island is covered underneath a thatched roof and includes a circular half-table, cocktail-style seating for the four fans in the party and wait service.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are dedicated to providing family-friendly entertainment and are the only Minor League team to offer bubbles to fans entering the AT&T Plaza and balloons for all children exiting Coca-Cola Park.
