ECHL Announces Fine, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Wednesday announced that Las Vegas' Ryan Weston has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #K-2, Idaho at Las Vegas, on April 17.
Weston was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #70.6 at 17:50 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Weston will miss Las Vegas' playoff games at Idaho on April 19 and April 21.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
