Spokane Shock News Release

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that WR Daron Clark has been added to the 2012 roster. Clark, 5-7 165, has professional experience in the CFL (2010 - Montreal Alouettes), and the UFL (2009 - New York Sentinels).

Prior to his professional career, Clark was a mutli-dimensional player for Stillman College where he lined up on offense and on special teams. In his senior season, Clark returned 11 punts for 128 yards (including a touchdown) and on kick-returns he averaged over 19 yards per return (11 kick returns for 215 yards). As a receiver, Clark recorded 20 receptions for 418 yards with three touchdowns.

"Daron has remarkable speed and he uses that to his advantage," General Manager Ryan Rigmaiden said. "He's very elusive and he can be dangerous in open field. "

The Shock will open the 2012 season this coming Monday on March 12th as they host the Iowa Barnstormers. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest. The first 5,000 fans who enter the Arena for Opening Night will receive a magnet schedule courtesy of George Gee Kia.
