RedHawks End Homestand vs. Omaha-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks finish a 12-game homestand with the final game of a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers...Omaha lead the season series 9-6, and hold a 3-0 edge in the current series...The RedHawks are 6-5 in the current homestand, including a four-game sweep of the Memphis Redbirds and a 2-2 split with the Nashville Sounds...Every game of the current homestand is against American Northern division opponents, the tightest division in the PCL...Oklahoma City enters Monday in fourth place in the American Southern division, 17.0 games behind first place Round Rock...Omaha enters Monday first place in the American Northern division, 5.0 games ahead of second place Memphis...

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- RedHawks RH Nelson Figueroa (15G, 14GS, 6-6, 6.23) makes the start tonight, coming off a losing decision on July 28 against Nashville in which he allowed nine earned runs and 12 hits over five innings...Figueroa has two appearances against Omaha in 2011, posting a 1-1 record and 3.65 ERA...Figueroa started the 2011 season as the #5 starter for the Houston Astros, made five starts and three relief appearances and was designated for assignment...Omaha starter Luis Mendoza (27G, 12GS, 7-4, 2.37) is coming off a losing decision on July 28 vs. Albuquerque, giving up two unearned runs and four hits over 6.1 innings...In three outings, two starts, against OKC, Mendoza is 1-0 with a 0.60 ERA (1ER/15.0IP)...Mendoza carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning against OKC on July 9, an outing before a controversial near no-hitter on July 18 at Memphis...

Last Game: August 1- Omaha Storm Chasers 2, OKC RedHawks 0-- Omaha scored two runs against starter Lucas Harrell in the second inning before an early ejection, but the RedHawks finished 0x7 with runners in scoring position in a 2-0 loss to Omaha before 3,384 Monday night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown...Lucas Harrell was ejected after 1.1 innings for arguing a safe-out call between third and home...Wesley Wright entered in emergency relief and dealt 3.2 perfect relief frames...J.B. Shuck was 3x4 in a losing effort...The RedHawks bullpen put down the first 21 hitters they faced, and combined for 7.2 shutout relief innings...Jeff Suppan dealt seven shutout innings for Omaha, giving up five hits, four walks and five strikeouts in the winning decision...Kevin Pucetas saved the game for Omaha with two shutout innings...The RedHawks hit into four double plays in the loss last night...

Another Round of Roster Moves-- The Houston Astros have released P Casey Fien, making room for OF Jacob Goebbert from Double-A Corpus Christi...In 75 games in Double-A Goebbert was batting .305 with 5 HR and 34 RBI...Goebbert started the season in Class A-Advanced Lancaster, playing in 26 games with a .260 average, 5HR and 18 RBI...

Double Play Defense-- The Oklahoma City RedHawks lead the Pacific Coast League with 131 double plays...The next-closest team is Salt Lake with 126 double plays...Iowa is last in the PCL with 82 twin-killings...

Shuck Continues to Roll-- J.B. Shuck crushed in the month of July, posting a .368 average (32x87)...Since the All-Star break, Shuck has a .460 average (29x63), and has hit safely in 14 of his 17 games since the break...Nine of the 14 games with a hit since the break have been multi-hit games...Shuck's current .303 average is at its highest mark since batting .306 after the May 4 game vs. Nashville...

Harrell Third RedHawks Player Ejected-- Lucas Harrell was ejected after 1.1 innings last night, the third ejection of a RedHawks player in 2011, and second RedHawks starting pitcher...Tonight's starter Nelson Figueroa was ejected after 1.2 innings on June 30 at Memphis by home plate umpire Jordan Baker after a hit-by-pitch followed a second inning two-run home run...On May 22 at Sacramento, infielder Tommy Manzella was ejected arguing an earlier call while playing infield by umpire Brett Robson...
